The water on it includes Lady Brook, Poynton Brook, Norbury Brook, Poynton Pool and Park Lane Stream. Green spaces include Wigwam Wood, Deva Close Playing Fields, Poynton Park and Serpentine Wood. Main roads include Chester Road, London Road, London Road North, Manchester Airport Eastern Link Road, Woodford Road and Roy Chadwick Way. It marks places of worship such as St. George's Church, Poynton Baptist Church, Saint Paul's and Poynton Methodist Church.
