Slough is a town in Berkshire, England. Observatory House, a municipal building, and the 40-foot telescope, a reflecting telescope begun in 1785, are both close to the centre. The Church of St Mary is Grade II* listed, and the Church of Our Lady Immaculate and St Ethelbert is Grade II listed.
