St Albans is a city in southern Hertfordshire, England. St Albans Cathedral stands in the city, and Verulamium, a town of Roman Britain, lies within St Albans, along with the remains of the Roman Theatre of Verulamium. The Clock Tower, a scheduled monument, is also in the city, as is Verulamium Lake.
