A closer look.
Special occasion: Christmas.
Bowness Bay on Windermere under snow: rowing boats moored at a wooden jetty in the foreground, lake cruisers and boathouses along the shore, and snowy firs and houses on the hillside behind.
A winter drawing of Bowness Bay, Windermere, made from a real photograph of the real place with a light fall of snow added for the season. The artwork is an AI interpretation, not a documentary photograph; details can differ from the original.
