About Dewsbury Minster
All Saints, known since 1994 as Dewsbury Minster, is the parish church of Dewsbury in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, and stands in the town centre on Church Street and Vicarage Road. Its origins lie in the thirteenth century, and a rebuilding followed in 1895. Its architecture is Gothic Revival, and it has been listed Grade II* since 1949. It is one of only three churches in West Yorkshire to carry the honorary title of minster; Halifax Minster and Leeds Minster are the other two.
