Henley-on-Thames is seen from across the water, with a row of white-fronted riverside houses and boathouses lined along the far bank, balconies and gabled roofs above the moorings. A Union flag flies from a pole, moored cruisers sit at the jetties, and willows and tall trees close the view. A pair of rowers slide past on broad blue water flecked with gold, drawn in warm vintage-style flat colour of deep blues, cream and terracotta under a clear sky.
