En détail.
Special occasion: Christmas.
York's Shambles in winter: the narrow lane of old brick and timber shopfronts runs away between the buildings, with snow along the ledges, hanging signs and flagstones and warm light in the windows.
A winter drawing of The Shambles, York, made from a real photograph of the real place with a light fall of snow added for the season. The artwork is an AI interpretation, not a documentary photograph; details can differ from the original.
