Guarda il nostro primo campione in una vera casaTamworth Castle, Staffordshire — drawn in our Retro Railway style from a real photograph of the real place, reimagined with AI.
Retro railway-poster illustration of Tamworth Castle in Tamworth, seen from below its wooded mound, the round crenellated keep and square tower with a flag above a red-leaved tree, a stone urn, a wooden fence and people sitting on the grass.
Tamworth Castle is a Norman castle in Tamworth, Staffordshire, looking over the spot where the River Anker flows into the Tame. Until boundary changes in 1889 it lay just inside Warwickshire, while most of the town was in Staffordshire. In Anglo-Saxon times the site was a residence of the kings of Mercia, but it fell out of use during the Viking invasions. The Normans fortified it again and it was enlarged later, and today few motte-and-bailey castles in England survive in better condition. It is also a museum, and it is Grade I listed and a scheduled monument.
