About Arlington Row
Arlington Row is a row of cottages on Awkward Hill at Arlington, in the Gloucestershire parish of Bibury. It started out as a wool store, built in the late 14th century, and in the late 17th century it became homes for weavers. The row is owned by the National Trust and listed at Grade I, and it is an architectural conservation area of national note. It appears on the inside cover of every UK passport, and it is said to be among the most photographed scenes in the Cotswolds.
