About Forge Mill Needle Museum
Redditch's Forge Mill Needle Museum, in Worcestershire, tells the story of the town's industrial past. Queen Elizabeth II opened it in 1983. Its displays show that in the Victorian era Redditch was the world's centre for making needles and fishing tackle, and that the town once made 90% of the world's needles.
