About Warrington Town Hall
Warrington Town Hall, in Warrington, Cheshire, is a house first known as Bank Hall, with a detached service wing on each side set at right angles to it. The house and each of the two wings are Grade I listed in their own right. Because it is on the northern side of the Mersey, the house falls in historic Lancashire. Nikolaus Pevsner, the architectural historian, judged it the best house of its period anywhere in south Lancashire. Today it is the seat of local government for Warrington.
