About Bolton Town Hall
Bolton Town Hall stands in Victoria Square in Bolton, Greater Manchester. It was built for the County Borough of Bolton between 1866 and 1873, designed by two architects: George Woodhouse, from Bolton, and William Hill, from Leeds. In the 1930s the building was extended, this time to designs by Bradshaw, Gass and Hope. Historic England lists it at Grade II*.
