Derwentwater, Keswick, is seen from a shingle shore where a row of wooden rowing boats lies moored, ropes trailing into shallow water. A long launch with a glazed cabin waits by a timber jetty, ducks paddling past a stone-edged walkway, and layered blue hills rise behind trees in orange and gold. Flat blocks of teal, amber and burnt orange give it a mid-century travel-poster look.
