About Ryde Pier
Ryde Pier belongs to Ryde, a town on the Isle of Wight, just off England's south coast. Dating from the early 19th century, it is the oldest seaside pleasure pier in the world. It has a railway station at each end, Ryde Pier Head out at sea and Ryde Esplanade on land, and Island Line trains call at both. The pier is Grade II listed.
